The Biggest small town Film Festival in Oklahoma

The Tonkawa Film Festival is returning for its 6th year and has quickly become “The Biggest small town Film Festival in Oklahoma”. This year the festival has partnered with Blackmagic Design who has generously donated a Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K Pro valued at over $2,500 which will be awarded to this year’s Best of Fest winner. In addition to film screenings on Friday and Saturday evening, they will also host a family friendly screening on Apr 25th at 2:30PM.

All screenings will take place at Wilkin Hall on the Northern Oklahoma College campus. A big highlight of the film festival is its one-of-a-kind filmfestival parade which features visiting filmmakers from across this United States including local participants of all kinds. The parade begins at 11AM on Saturday Apr 26th in downtown Tonkawa on Grand Avenue.

This year’s festival will highlight 44 selected short films from various genres and from filmmakers from around the world. A list of the selected films is available to view at the festival’s website. Tickets are on sale and can be purchased through the website or in-person. Tickets are $12/night or $20 for both nights. Come walk the red carpet and join us for 2 days of amazing films.

Tonkawa Film Festival is committed to promoting the art of filmmaking in the heart of Oklahoma and is hosted by the Tonkawa Film Commission. For more information about the festival and to purchase tickets, please visit http://www.tonkawafilmfestival.com.
