THE PARENT Sweeps Chelsea Film Festival Awards

The 9th Annual Edition of Chelsea Film Festival announces its list of winners.

The Chelsea Film Festival held its 2021 edition in-person and virtually on Film Festival+ from October 14–17. The feature film The Parent directed by Vlad Furman swept the awards taking home the Grand Prix Award for Best Picture, Best Director, Best Cinematography, and Best Screenplay. The Cast of The Parent shined as well. Vladislav Bulanov and Mikhail Porechenkov won Best Actor, with Angelina Strechina winning Best Actress, and Maria Shukshina as Best Supporting Actress.

Other winners included: Pave the Road for Best Documentary, No Dogs for Best Short Film, B-Sides for Best TV Series, and the Special Jury Award was given to East of Middle West. For the complete list of winners visit the festival website.
