OH, HI at Tribeca Festival

Iris and Issac (Molly Gordon and Logan Lerman) are a young couple who head out to the country for some quality time away together. It seems like the perfect vacation until it all goes wrong. If I had one word to describe this film, it would be “unexpected.” You may think you know what you’re getting into from the setup, but this one will keep you guessing.

It’s a beautiful looking, well acted, and well directed film. Oh, Hi is a performance-driven comedy with some stellar performances all the way around. Gordon and Lerman are outstanding, and have amazing on-screen chemistry.

Honestly, this isn’t a movie for everyone, and it may even be a bit divisive. There are going to be some arguments on the way home from the theater. It won’t be everyone’s cup of tea, but those who get it will probably love it.
