No Rest for the Weekend’s Lifetime Achievement Award Winner, Nicolas Cage

In this excerpt the 2nd Annual No Rest for the Weekend Awards, Eric McClanahan presents our first ever Lifetime Achievement Award to acting legend, Nicolas Cage.

Nicolas Cage is one of our most innovative, eccentric, interesting, and prolific actors. This year alone he starred in seven feature films if you count his Superman cameo in The Flash (which we did). Not only his he our Lifetime Achievement Award winner, but we also created a special category just for him, The Best Performance by Nicolas Cage in a 2023 film.

Thank you Mr. Cage for all your years of work and showing us the what it’s like to bear the Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent. We salute you and we honor you.
