Movie Release: IN THE LOST LANDS

Here’s what you need to know about the film: Directed by Paul W.S. Anderson and based on George R.R. Martin’s short story, a queen sends the powerful and feared sorceress Gray Alys (Milla Jovovich) to the ghostly wilderness of the Lost Lands in search of a magical power, where the sorceress and her guide, the drifter Boyce (Dave Bautista), must outwit and outfight man and demon.
Our take: This movie looks completely bonkers! Based on the trailer, it looks like we’re getting a sci-fi/action thrill ride with two strong leads in Bautista and Jovovich surrounded by tons of green screen/CGI post-apocalyptic wasteland and monsters shot in super-epic slow motion. If you like the Resident Evil films or the recent Zack Snyder Rebel Moon films on Netflix, this could be the movie for you.
