MOTHER MAY I HAVE A KIDNEY? at Tribeca Festival 2025

In this video we take you to the premiere the new series pilot for Mother May I Have a Kidney ? created by Veronica Reyes-How and starring Doug Plaut. In the series, Doug learns he’s in need of a kidney transplant and the perfect match is his estranged mother. He’s forced to embark on a journey towards reconciliation with his family.

I spoke with Reyes-How along with two of the film’s stars, Myra Lucretia Taylor who plays Doug’s therapist and Ace Wild who plays young Doug about their hopes for the series moving forward and how they feel it’ll impact audiences.
