Hosted by Jason Godbey
On this episode we bring you interviews with some of the creators from this year’s Brooklyn Film Festival including: Vito Rowlands ( Ovid New York), Misha Voropaev ( Hunan Soondan), Lenny Luo ( Faerie Queen), and Martjin van de Griendt ( Holy Trinity).
Ovid New York is an anthology made of seven stories of transformation re-imagining Ovid’s Metamorphoses. Hunan Soondan is set in Tuva, a remote country located at the source of the Yenisei River. The documentary follows the Huun-Huur-Tu band, the keeper of traditional Tuvan music. Faerie Queen is a character study about the toxicity and disarray of modern teen culture and the debut feature of director Lenny Luo. Holy Trinity is a documentary that follows three teens in the Netherlands.
