Award Winners SKIN & DEVIL’S HARMONY come to VOD via WeShort.com

Award winning films Skin (Winner-Academy Award for Best Short Film in 2018) and Devil’s Harmony (Winner-Sundance Film Festival for Best International Fiction Film in 2019), come to streaming via WeShort.com, a new platform exclusively for short films. The new Video On Demand platform launched in 2021 with a mission to host short films exclusively. In addition to featuring films from all over the globe, the company has also created original productions like Serial Killer which stars Michael Madsen. In addition, the platform will include other award-winning films including the work of Italian actors, Roberto Herlitzka and Leo Gullotta.

“I created this platform first and foremost as a passionate cinephile. Short films were for forerunner of modern cinema, and I believe they are essential. WeShort will give young artists and smaller productions the opportunity for profitable distribution and along with the chance to have their work seen and appreciated.” says founder and CEO of WeShort, Alessandro Loprieno.

The platform plans to help short cinema regain its importance as an art form. Loprieno along with COO Carlo Fusco and their team have already selected hundreds of films and plan to grow their library with classic and animated works along with other unreleased “gems” from all over the world.
