AFI Fest Vlog 2024

The 2024 edition of AFI Fest ended October on a cinematic high note, with the annual curated festival drawing the largest crowds in its history, including a renewed celebrity presence and high profile red carpet premieres on each night, thanks to the end of the SAG-AFTRA and WGA strikes last year. What was a pleasant but somewhat subdued affair in 2023 was a full-on celebration this time around, with several big name Awards Season hopefuls getting the spotlight.

Out of the nearly 80 feature films on display during the five-day marathon, I was able to increase my load from last year and take in 16, essentially 20% of the field.
